The West Virginia Board of Optometry usually meets at least four times a year and convenes for additional Special meetings when needed.
Meetings are held in person or by zoom conference call and proper notice is posted on the West Virginia Secretary of State's Administrative Law Meeting Notices website.
Traditionally, Board meeting interview dates for license applicants occur during quarterly Regular Board Meetings in February, May, July and October. Additional dates are often available. The Board is willing to call a Special Meeting as soon as a license application is complete and ready to be evaluated.
